Project Manager Certification

Lawrenceville, NJ (Vocus/PRWEB ) April 25, 2008 -- The results of a recent survey conducted by ResumeEdge.com, a leading provider of resume writing services, show that people update their resume more frequently today than they did a year ago. More than 37 percent of the 600 respondents indicated that they revise their resume as changes occur and accomplishments are reached on the job, as opposed to only 34 percent last year. Also, the percentage of respondents who said they only update their resume when actively seeking a new job has dropped from more than 50 percent to 45 percent.

“Based on the feedback we received from our customers, it’s clear that people in these uncertain economic times are more proactive in keeping their resume up to date,” said Michael Fleischner, Managing Director of ResumeEdge.com. “They also agree that having a professional resume writer help you with your resume is a major advantage in a tightening job market.”

Survey results also show that career-savvy professionals are always looking for ways to sharpen their competitive edge. More than 50 percent of people asked said they would take advantage of interview skills training, even though a large majority of them are currently employed with an annual salary of $50,000 or more.
